Dr. David Shepherd | Pelham, AL | Dental Assistant | Part Time

Our team is growing, and we are looking to add a Full Time Dental Assistant to our long-standing team in Pelham.

Dr. Shepherd has been serving Central Alabama for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on the long-standing relationships built at the office level and surrounding communities. We strive to deliver high-quality, compassionate dental care and spend time each appointment to ensure the patient leaves with a smile on their face.

Our new team member will enjoy updated facilities, opportunity for career advancement and a family like atmosphere that we have created for both patients and employees. The ideal candidate is a team player who is willing to learn and has a strong passion for dentistry.

Candidate Requirements:

• Preferably 2 years of dental assisting experience
• Dentrix knowledge
• Reliable
• Hardworking
• Passion for helping people
• Assist with root canals, crowns, extractions - good at making temporary crowns

Skills:

• Expanded duties consist of but are not limited to being able to take x-rays
• Take impressions
• Make temporary crowns
• Have knowledge of endo procedures
• Perio and implant experience is preferred but not required
• Proficient in Dentrix, both with charting and treatment planning

Schedule:

• Monday: OFF
• Tuesday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:30am- 1 1:30am
• Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
• Friday: OFF
