We are a friendly and patient-focused general dentistry office committed to providing high-quality care to our community. Our team prides itself on maintaining a positive and supportive work environment while delivering excellent dental services. We are currently seeking a dependable and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Dental Assistant will assist the dentist during a variety of general dental procedures and help ensure a comfortable experience for every patient. This role includes clinical assistance, patient education, sterilization, and constant communication with front-office

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Assist the dentist during general dental procedures (fillings, crowns, cleanings, extractions, etc.).
  • Take and process dental X-rays (must be certified if required by the state).
  • Set up and break down operatories, ensuring sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
  • Maintain inventory of dental supplies and assist with ordering when needed.
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
  • Record patient medical histories, treatment information, and charting accurately.
  • Manage suction devices and provide comfort to patients during procedures.
  • Support front office tasks, including scheduling and patient check-in/check-out, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Dental Assistant certification preferred not required
  • Current X-ray certification
  • CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • At least one year of previous experience in general dentistry preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and teamwork.

Compensation:

  • Hourly pay based on experience, $18-21/hour

Position Schedule:

  • 5 days/week, no evenings, no weekends
